Here is the Sunchild modeling my latest take on the chunky hat. I used some wool that I spun & dyed when I was living in BC. It was a royal pain to knit with- it really was spun with weaving in mind. The brim was dyed with saskatoon berries & the top is dyed with onion skins.

It is too big for the Sunchild, but the colors look better on him than they do on me. Posted by Picasa
